WORSHIPFUL MASTER'S DECEMBER 2012 MESSAGE

Worshipful Master 2012-2013

Brethren

Our regular meeting in November featured a great lecture on Visitation from W .Bro. Al Wright, PM of The Lodge of Fidelity. Visitation is indeed one of the great privileges and joys of Freemasonry. As you begin to move up in the offices in the Lodge, more visitations are expected. Thankfully so. The joy of going to another Lodge and meeting your friends, and enjoying their hospitality is indescribable. It is only superseded when they return the favor and show up at your meeting for a surprise visit. As usual, you only get out of it what you put into it, and visitation begets visitation.

I am doing a lot of visiting these days. I am publishing my visiting schedule on the website so everybody is aware of an opportunity to visit another Lodge. Most visits will likely coincide with a lively and enjoyable DDGM visit. Please consider joining me.

I am very pleased with our response to the food bank challenge, but Mississippi appears to be outdoing us!! The gauntlet is thrown down Brethren! The good news is that we all win with this effort. Let's get out there and give. On another note we are entering the festive season I would like to take this time on behalf of Kathy and my Family to wish all our members and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please be safe

Sincerely and Fraternally
